    Yes, we offer beautiful on-site ceremonies at our venue. Included in this offering are elegant white padded chairs for your guests' comfort. The ceremony is typically scheduled 30 minutes prior to the reception, creating a seamless transition for your guests. After the heartfelt 'I do's, your guests can then enjoy a delightful cocktail hour in the reception venue.

    Each of our venues offers a unique ambiance and capacity to suit various event sizes: The Natalie Room: Comfortably accommodates up to 200 guests, perfect for intimate yet elegant gatherings. The Cecilia Room: Our largest space, with a capacity of up to 300 guests, ideal for grand celebrations. The Courtyard: A beautiful outdoor setting that can host up to 225 guests, offering a picturesque backdrop for your event.     At Kotecki's, we operate on an appointment-only basis to ensure each client receives our undivided attention and personalized service.     Yes, we have set food and beverage minimums that apply before any service charges, New York State sales tax, or additional add-ons. Our minimums vary depending on the day of the week and the specific venue space you choose: The Natalie Room: Friday: $10,000 | Saturday: $12,000 | Sunday: $8,000 The Courtyard: Friday: $11,000 | Saturday: $13,000 | Sunday: $9,000 The Cecilia Room: Friday: $12,000 | Saturday: $14,000 | Sunday: $10,000 These minimums ensure we can provide the highest quality service and experience for your event. For other wedding services, such as floral arrangements, cake design, photography, and videography, we offer a carefully curated list of preferred vendors. These are professionals we have established strong relationships with and who share our commitment to excellence. However, we understand that every wedding is unique, and we want your day to reflect your personal style. Therefore, you are more than welcome to select your own florist, baker, photographer, or videographer. Our goal is to ensure that every aspect of your wedding aligns perfectly with your vision and style.
  • What lodging options are available in the area?
    Yes, there are several comfortable lodging options conveniently located near our venue. The closest hotels are all less than 5 miles away, ensuring easy accessibility for you and your guests. Some nearby options include: Hampton Inn Staybridge Suites Country Inn & Suites All of these are situated on Ridge Road in West Seneca, offering a variety of accommodations to suit different preferences and needs. Their close proximity to our venue makes them ideal choices for your out-of-town guests or for a comfortable stay before and after your event.

    No, that is part of your catering package and the Kotecki’s touch.

To secure your special day, we'll first gather all your information to prepare your contract. Then, with an event retainer of $2,000, your wedding date will be officially booked. We're thrilled at the prospect of being a small part of your big day and are here to make the process as smooth and exciting as possible.   • How are payments structured?
    We've set up our payment structure to be both flexible and convenient for you, making the journey to your big day as smooth as possible: 6 Months Before Your Wedding: A payment of $2,000 is due, which will be applied directly to your invoice. This helps manage your expenses effectively. 3 Months Prior: An additional payment of $1,000 is required, steadily contributing towards your special day. 10 Days Before Your Wedding: The final payment is due, finalizing the financial details so you can focus entirely on your celebration. We also understand that everyone's financial planning is different, so you are more than welcome to make additional payments at any time throughout the planning process. These payments will be promptly applied to your invoice, giving you even more control over managing your budget. Regarding the event retainer of $2,000, it's held as a precaution against any damages but is not applied to your wedding costs. We ensure its return within a week post-wedding, assuming all is as lovely as when your day began. At every step, we're here to make planning your wedding as joyful and stress-free as possible – and that includes handling payments.   • What forms of payment do you accept?
    At Kotecki's, we aim to make your payment process as convenient as possible. Here are the payment options we accept: Cash: Always a straightforward choice. Cashier’s Check: A secure method for larger amounts. Personal Checks: Accepted up to 11 days before your wedding day. Please note, if you are within 10 days of your wedding, payments must be made in guaranteed funds, such as cash or a cashier's check, as personal checks cannot be accepted at this stage. We understand that each couple may have different preferences for handling payments, so we offer these various options to accommodate your needs. If you have any questions about payment methods or timing, please feel free to reach out to us. We're here to assist every step of the way!
  • What time must the music and bar conclude?
    The bar and music at your event need to conclude simultaneously, aligning with the end time specified in your contract. Our typical weddings usually run until either 10:00 PM or 11:00 PM. However, if you wish to extend the celebration, we offer the option to add an additional hour to your event. Please let us know in advance if you're interested in extending the festivities, and we'll make the necessary arrangements to ensure your evening is everything you've dreamed of.
  • Can vendor or decor items be dropped off before or after our contracted time?
    Yes, we are happy to accommodate early setups for vendors. Vendors are welcome to start setting up at 11:00 AM on the day of your event. This gives them plenty of time to prepare and ensure every detail is in place for your celebration. If your vendors have not worked at Kotecki's Grandview Grove before, we kindly ask them to call our office in advance. This helps us facilitate their setup effectively and familiarize them with our venue's specifics. This way, we can work together to ensure a seamless and beautifully executed event.   • Are candles allowed?
    Yes, candles are certainly allowed and can add a beautiful, romantic ambiance to your event. We just ask that all candles be enclosed in a container, such as a vase, to ensure safety and prevent any potential damage. This way, you can enjoy the warm glow of candlelight while keeping everyone and everything safe. If you have any specific questions or ideas regarding candle decor, feel free to discuss them with us!
  • Can we use rose petals for our ceremony?
    Yes, rose petals are a beautiful addition to any ceremony, and we welcome their use. We do request, however, that you use real rose petals instead of artificial ones. This is to ensure they are biodegradable and in harmony with our commitment to environmental care. Using real petals helps us maintain the natural beauty of our venue for all to enjoy.   • When do you need our final headcount?
    For optimal planning of food orders and staffing for your event, we require your final head count 14 days prior to your wedding day. This allows us sufficient time to make necessary adjustments to ensure that we have the appropriate amount of food and staff to cater to your guests. If there are any changes or if you need guidance in finalizing your guest list, please don't hesitate to contact us.
